Frontier Airlines to Mark Return to SJC With Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on July 22; Five New Nonstop Routes to Launch Between July and Aug.

San José, Calif. – Frontier Airlines and San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) will celebrate the airline’s return and launch of five nonstop daily routes this summer with a ribbon cutting and remarks from airline and airport officials on Monday, July 22. Daily nonstop services to Denver International Airport (DEN) and San Diego International Airport (SAN) begin Monday. In August, daily nonstop services to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), and Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS) will launch. 

The ribbon cutting will take place near Frontier’s ticket counter in Terminal A. Festivities will continue with giveaways for passengers at Gate 4 prior to departure. 

Airline and airport officials will be available Monday morning for individual interviews, and can speak to Frontier’s growth at SJC and across California as well as the record-setting summer travel season.
