Today, Delta Air Lines announced a brand-new domestic destination for Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) with service to Fayetteville, Arkansas (XNA). This milestone marks the latest domestic expansion for the airport, establishing a nonstop connection between Central Texas and the state of Arkansas.
Beginning in March 2027, the new AUS-XNA service will be operated daily by SkyWest on an ERJ-175.
The Embraer 175 is equipped with Delta First, Delta Comfort and Delta Main. This aircraft provides a quieter, more comfortable ride for travelers with modern interiors, larger windows and more personal space.
“We are proud to welcome Delta Air Lines’ new nonstop service to Fayetteville,” said Ghizlane Badawi, Chief Executive Officer of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. “This route gives Central Texas travelers a direct connection to Fayetteville and the incredible experiences that await in Arkansas, while creating new opportunities for tourism, business, and stronger connections between our communities. It also reflects the strength of our partnership with Delta and the continued growth of AUS as a gateway connecting Central Texas to more destinations across the country and around the world.”
“Connecting Central Texas and Northwest Arkansas with new nonstop service brings two dynamic, growing regions closer together while giving our customers even more choice and convenience,” said Luis Guitart, Austin-based Regional Sales Manager at Delta Air Lines. “This new direct route is another example of Delta’s continued investment in Austin and our commitment to making it easier for Austinites to get where they want to go as we continue growing alongside this important community.”
