Breeze Airways chooses Assaia to enhance visibility across ground operations

Aug 12, 2026 | News

Germany – 12 August, 2026: Breeze Airways is partnering with aviation software company, Assaia, to deploy its computer vision and artificial intelligence technology across the airline’s expanding airport network, providing real-time visibility into aircraft turnaround operations.

Already live at airports worldwide, Assaia’s solutions support leading global airlines and airport operators by analyzing thousands of aircraft turnarounds every day. The platform helps operational teams reduce delays, improve coordination and resource utilization, enhance safety, and lower emissions.

The deployment will begin with an initial phase covering up to 30 gates at multiple Breeze Airways stations, with plans to scale across the airline’s network of 85+ airports.

Christiaan Hen, CEO, Assaia, says: “Airline operations at the gate depend on hundreds of activities taking place around an aircraft in a short period of time. Having real-time visibility into activities helps operational teams identify issues before they impact other areas, improves coordination among stakeholders, and keeps flights moving more efficiently.

“Breeze has ambitious growth plans, and maintaining operational consistency across an expanding network becomes more complex with every new station added. We’re pleased to be working alongside such a forward-thinking airline and to be supporting its day-to-day performance.”

David Neeleman, Founder and CEO of Breeze Airways, says: “At Breeze, we are committed to using technology to improve operational performance and deliver a better experience for our passengers.

“By gaining deeper insight into everything that happens on the ground, we can make more informed decisions across all our operations. The additional visibility and knowledge will also help us identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary fuel consumption associated with operational delays and aircraft waiting times – vital in the current challenging climate.”
