COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Colorado Springs Airport (COS) recorded 109,515 passenger enplanements in September 2026, a slight 0.2% decrease from September 2025.
Delta Air Lines posted a 16.4% increase in enplanements at COS compared with last year, which can be attributed to additional year-over-year frequency to both Atlanta (ATL) and Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP). Delta Air Lines also offers twice-daily service to Salt Lake City (SLC). Southwest Airlines posted a 1.3% increase in enplanements compared with September 2025. Southwest Airlines now offers six-times weekly service to Houston-Hobby (HOU), giving their customers a host of connecting opportunities. United Airlines posted a 14.6% decrease in enplanements, likely attributed to a significant year-over-year capacity decrease to Denver (DEN).
Colorado Springs Airport remains committed to sustainable, long-term growth by strengthening airline partnerships, supporting existing routes and pursuing expanded air service options that enhance travel opportunities for residents and visitors throughout the Pikes Peak region.
