The nearly 60,000-square-foot aviation facility will pair modern infrastructure with responsive, personal service
OKLAHOMA CITY — [AUGUST 27, 2026] — Freedom OKC today celebrated the groundbreaking of a new full-service fixed-base operation at OKC Will Rogers International Airport, marking the formal start of construction on a purpose-built facility designed to serve both based and transient business and general aviation customers.
The project will include two build-to-suit aircraft hangars with associated operations and customer-service space, totaling approximately 59,920 square feet under roof, along with related common areas and amenities. The FBO and first hangar is underway. Freedom OKC plans to provide aircraft fueling, hangar services and private aviation support.

The project is being developed by Freedom Assets, LLC and Freedom OKC FBO LLC under a ground lease with the Oklahoma City Airport Trust. Miller-Tippens Construction Company, LLC is serving as general contractor, Rad Collaborative LLC is the project engineer, and BancFirst is providing construction financing.
Site work is underway, and the current construction schedule calls for approximately 12 to 15 months of work. Freedom OKC anticipates opening in late 2027.
When complete, Freedom OKC will add a new private aviation service option at Oklahoma’s largest commercial airport. OKC Will Rogers International Airport operates three major runways capable of accommodating nearly any aircraft type, positioning Freedom OKC to serve a broad range of business and general aviation customers traveling to and through Oklahoma City.
