| INDIANAPOLIS (Oct.16, 2026) — The Indianapolis International Airport (IND) adds another nonstop flight to its growing line up of international destinations. Air Canada announced today it will launch seasonal, once-daily service from Indy to Montreal (YUL) running June 1 through September 30, 2027.
“This new route means Hoosier travelers will have nonstop reach to an important international business hub, and now access to a total of six international destinations all nonstop from IND,” said Indianapolis Airport Authority Executive Director Mario Rodriguez. “Additionally, a number of those destinations offer connections directly to major cities around the globe.”
Montreal is among a list of new international nonstop destinations from Indy announced in the past 18 months, including Dublin (Ireland) via Aer Lingus, San Jose del Cabo (Mexico) via Southwest Airlines and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) via American Airlines.
“Indianapolis is a dynamic city with a passionate sports culture, and we’re excited to connect it directly with Montréal,” said Alexandre Lefebvre, vice president of network planning and global sales at Air Canada. “This new service will make it easier for travellers in central Indiana to experience Montréal and, through our hub at YUL, connect to destinations across Air Canada’s network. It also complements our long-standing service between Indianapolis and Toronto, giving customers another convenient connection to our global network. We look forward to welcoming customers on board.”
Montreal is Canada’s second largest city, and was named one of the world’s best cities by Conde Nast – offering world-class food and history. It is also an Air Canada hub, which provides access to the airlines’ extensive network across Canada, Europe, and Asia.
“Our count of nonstop destinations overall is now at 58, the highest in IND history,” said Maggie Cunningham, IAA director of air service and airport experience. “That’s the direct result of listening to Hoosier travelers, and collaborating with our airline partners to deliver on that feedback. This new flight to Montreal is an exciting example of how that feedback becomes a reality.”
