The iconic NYC-based restaurant combines full-service dining with a prominent bar at T4, bringing passengers traditional tastes of NYC for both quick preflight dining and leisurely meals
Queens, New York – August 5, 2026 – JFKIAT – the operator of Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport – in partnership with SSP America – a division of SSP Group, a leading operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations worldwide – today announced the opening of Hunt & Fish Club, New York’s quintessential American steakhouse, at JFK T4. The restaurant’s opening comes on the heels of JFKIAT’s ongoing transformation of T4’s commercial program and a fresh new lineup of food & beverage options. The expansion plan brings the unique and special feel of New York City’s culture straight to the terminal, elevating the passenger experience through food, beverage, and retail offerings.
Located near T4’s Gate B34, the new space provides passengers with a refined dining experience, featuring classic cuts of beef, fresh seafood, innovative dishes, and expertly crafted cocktails. Created especially for the T4 location, a tailored breakfast menu offers early travelers a range of options to kickstart their day. Drawing inspiration from the original Manhattan flagship, the space also brings together classic elegance, boutique sophistication, and contemporary casual dining in a polished, upscale setting for an international audience. Hunt & Fish Club at T4 seats 80 guests and includes an overall experience that is warm, social, and inviting, making it equally suited for a preflight meal, business dinner, celebratory occasion, or leisurely stop during a longer layover.
“Bringing Hunt & Fish Club to Terminal 4 is another step in our commercial program’s transformation, giving our passengers a classic, authentic New York experience that locals and visitors alike will enjoy,” said Roel Huinink, Chief Executive Officer of JFKIAT. “This restaurant embodies the hospitality-driven, New York-inspired identity we’re building into every new addition at T4. We’re honored to continue partnering with SSP America in bringing world-class hospitality to our passengers, and we look forward to continuing to transform the terminal experience.”
Founded in 2015 in Midtown Manhattan, Hunt & Fish Club is a modern tribute to the classic American steakhouse tradition, defined by refined cuisine, personalized hospitality, and a genuine sense of occasion. The opening at T4 marks the latest chapter in Hunt & Fish Club’s partnership with SSP America, following the 2023 opening of Hunt & Fish Grill at LaGuardia Airport. The new location features a curated collection of artwork throughout the restaurant, helping translate the Hunt & Fish identity into the space through imagery and details that evoke classic American sporting traditions and New York club culture.
“New York is a city defined by unforgettable dining experiences, and Hunt & Fish Club brings that unmistakable sense of place to JFK Terminal 4. We’re proud to build on our collaboration with Nelson Braff and the Hunt & Fish Club team and appreciate our dedicated colleagues who helped bring this opening to life,” said George Mboya, CEO, SSP America.“As JFK continues its dynamic transformation into a world class gateway here in Terminal 4 and throughout the airport complex, we are grateful to JFKIAT and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for our evolving partnerships that reflect our values at their best – working together to deliver great food, heartfelt hospitality, and a memorable experience that helps make every passenger’s time in the terminal the best part of the journey.”
“We built Hunt & Fish Club as a testament to the old New York that I grew up in and love,” said Nelson Braff, Owner of Hunt & Fish Club. “We wanted to capture that same energy, glamour, and hospitality – a place where great food, great service, and a little New York magic come together. We so appreciate the opportunity to work with SSP America again and couldn’t be more excited to bring the full Hunt & Fish Club experience to JFK Terminal 4. This is an exciting new chapter for us, and we’re proud to share our New York with travelers from around the world and to be part of Terminal 4’s next 25 years.”
“Congratulations to JFKIAT and SSP America for providing passengers with an authentic taste of New York as part of the ongoing transformation of Terminal 4’s commercial redevelopment program,” said JFK International Airport General Manager Teresa Rizzuto. “The addition of Hunt & Fish Club aligns with the Port Authority’s vision for a new JFK, where a uniquely New York experience at our terminals will become an enjoyable part of the passenger journey.”
For 25 years, JFKIAT has applied its innovative and strategic expertise in air terminal operations at T4. With the recently completed $1.5B redevelopment of T4, JFKIAT continues to reimagine and transform the commercial program at T4 through its T4 North Star vision – the company’s strategic plan to transform T4 into a world-class, passenger-focused destination. Through localized partnerships, offerings, artwork, and exceptional hospitality service, JFKIAT is creating a world-class air terminal for passengers at T4.
The redevelopment of T4 is a key component of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion transformation of JFK Airport into a world-class gateway, with two new terminals, two expanded and modernized terminals, a new ground transportation center and an entirely new, simplified roadway network.
