DULLES, VA – Two local dining establishments have opened their first airport locations at Washington Dulles International Airport, offering travelers a taste of regional food and drink specialties at one of the top international travel hubs in the United States. Clyde’s, an American bar and restaurant, and 2 Silos Brewing Co., known for its award-winning beers and delicious food, are now part of the expanding dining scene at IAD, with more exciting additions to come.

Guests recently gathered for double ribbon-cutting ceremonies attended by partners from the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, Fraport USA, Air Ventures, Clyde’s Restaurant Group, and 2 Silos Brewing Co., all of whom made this occasion possible.

“Clyde’s and 2 Silos Brewing Co. have quickly become great additions to Dulles International’s dining program, giving travelers a chance to enjoy familiar regional favorites while they’re on the go,” said Jaimini Erskine, vice president for marketing and concessions at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. “These restaurants, especially the legendary Clyde’s, are part of our continuing effort to bring more of the region’s distinctive food and beverage offerings to the airport and create a more enjoyable experience for our passengers.”

Passengers and airport staff can now experience these true favorites firsthand at the airport, thanks to our partners.”

Clyde’s first opened in 1963 in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Since then, the brand has expanded to 14 locations in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Clyde’s new outpost in Concourse D spans 3,200 square feet and seats 150 guests. It brings its signature hospitality to the airport, offering a welcoming space to relax and enjoy a meal. Open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., Clyde’s specializes in American fare, classic burgers, and dishes crafted from quality ingredients. The restaurant is built on the belief that great dining begins with genuine hospitality and an inviting atmosphere.

2 Silos Brewing, located in Concourse B near Gate B37, serves breakfast items, appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and entrees, including its signature tater tots and handhelds with house-made chips. The full-service bar features draft beers, wine, spirits, craft cocktails, and mocktails. The restaurant is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

The new additions at Dulles International are designed to enhance the shopping and dining experiences for travelers as part of its modernization program. Last year, the Rappahannock Oyster Bar and Gatsby joined the airport’s culinary lineup. Soon, the new 435,000-square-foot Concourse E will introduce more local favorites, including Honor Brewing, MurLarkey Distilled Spirits Flights & Bites, Good Company Doughnuts & Café, Ellie Bird, and Aventino.

In 2025, Dulles International reached a milestone by serving a record of over 29 million passengers.
