ARLINGTON, VA – Travelers at Reagan National can now taste modern Mexican food at the new restaurant, Mi Vida Cantina and Taqueria in Concourse B. The highly anticipated establishment is locally praised for its genuine Mexican flavors and lively atmosphere. Mi Vida is open every day from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., expanding the variety of dining choices available at DCA.

Jaimini Erskine, vice president for marketing and concessions at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), stated that “Mi Vida brings a true sense of place to Reagan National, giving travelers an opportunity to experience a beloved Washington-area Knead Hospitality brand right here at the airport. Partnerships such as these allow us to connect travelers with authentic local flavors while supporting businesses that contribute to the vibrancy of our region.”

Close to Gate B16, this attractive open-air restaurant and bar serves modern interpretations of traditional Mexican dishes for breakfast and throughout the day until late hours, along with signature cocktails and convenient take-out.

Dominic Troilo, Vice President of Fraport Washington Partnership LLC, the company which manages the concessions program, stated: “We have worked with MWAA, Jackmont Hospitality, and KNEAD Hospitality + Design to bring Chef Santibañez’s well-known Mexican restaurant to Reagan National,” and added that “the outcome is a modern dining option which provides vibrant flavors and extra convenience for travelers who want a taste of sunny Mexico while on the move.”

Mi Vida offers a variety of flavor-filled dishes, starting with breakfast options until 10 a.m. These include Egg and Cheese tacos, Burrito Tejano, and Steak and Eggs. Starters include Tortilla Soup, Alitas, and Tatanachos. Chips and Salsa and hand-crushed Guacamole dishes come with house-made tortilla chips.

Rice and beans come with the taco and enchilada plates, served two together. For main courses, you can choose burritos, Grilled Salmon Mestiza, and the Guajillo Smashburger. Popular sides are plantains, sweet potato fries, and Ana’s white rice with refried black beans. There are also vegetarian options. The full bar features 12 premium tequila brands, plus signature cocktails such as Margaritas, Piñada, and the Ponche de Lola.

Simon Lorady, Vice President, Business Development & Brands for Jackmont Hospitality said: “We are incredibly grateful to KNEAD Hospitality + Design and Chef Roberto Santibañez for trusting Jackmont to bring the Mi Vida brand to life at Reagan National, and to MWAA, Fraport Washington and our ACDBE partner, Trans Air, for their partnership in making this opening possible.” Adding, “Jackmont has long been committed to bringing authentic, local and chef-driven dining experiences into airports while preserving the quality, identity and integrity that make those brands special. Mi Vida at DCA is a great example of what we believe is the next generation of airport dining — bringing a celebrated local restaurant into the airport in a way that feels authentic to the brand, relevant to the community and memorable for the traveler.”

In 2025, nearly 25 million passengers traveled through Reagan National. Eight airlines served the airport, providing over 400 daily departures to 108 destinations.
