Certified kosher and halal high-quality entrees and snacks debut in Terminal A-West

PHILADELPHIA — May 14, 2026 — Philadelphia International Airport has introduced the first-ever dining option in a U.S. airport fully dedicated to certified kosher and halal items, with the debut of PKS Kosher Market in Terminal A-West.

The opening of PKS Kosher Market marks a national milestone, serving exclusively kosher-certified products — delivering a complete, reliable dining experience while meeting a longstanding passenger need for trusted dining options while traveling.

The market-style grab-and-go concept features fresh meals, quick bites and beverages designed to meet the needs of PHL’s diverse traveling public — including both kosher- and halal-observant passengers and those simply seeking delicious, high-quality options.

Menu highlights include grilled chicken Caesar wraps, falafel wraps and plates, smoked turkey sandwiches on pretzel buns, PKS specialty salads and more. A selection of kosher-certified snacks, candy and beverages is also available.

PKS Kosher Market is brought to PHL by Prime Kosher Sports, a top-tier foodservice operator founded in 2017, specializing in fast-casual, high-quality kosher and halal products. The enterprise has established operations at premier venues, including Yankee Stadium, Citi Field, the U.S. Open and more.

PKS Kosher Market also meets a wide spectrum of dietary needs, serving menu items aligned not only with halal and kosher requirements but also with gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and allergy-conscious dietary needs.

“PKS Kosher Market is designed to meet the clear demand for kosher and halal foods in airports,” said Allan Bailey, President of PKS Airport. “It’s been a journey to get here, but we are very excited to get this venture off the ground.”

“Bringing a certified kosher and halal offering to PHL is key to providing a diverse lineup of dining options that welcomes all travelers,” said Mel Hannah, Vice President and General Manager of MarketPlace PHL. “With the introduction of PKS Kosher Market, passengers will have access to fresh meals that meet dietary standards in a convenient format.”

The market’s recent launch reflects growing demand for certified food offerings in airports and transportation hubs across the country, expanding the range of meal options available to passengers in PHL’s bustling Terminal A-West, which serves a large volume of international travelers.
