FORT MYERS, Fla. (Sept. 28, 2026) – During August, 609,026 passengers traveled through Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers. This was a decrease of 6 percent compared to August 2025. Year-to-date, passenger traffic is down 0.5 percent.
The traffic leader in August was Delta with 147,022 passengers. Rounding out the top five airlines were American (111,666), Southwest (104,634), United (96,451) and Breeze (47,632). Southwest Florida International Airport had 5,612 aircraft operations, a decrease of 6.7 percent compared to August 2025.
Page Field had 15,721 operations, which was a 27 percent increase compared to August 2025.
