WSP Appoints Navin Nitish as U.S. National Aviation Market Leader

Experienced aviation executive to drive growth, strengthen client relationships and lead major pursuits across the vital aviation industry.

NEW YORK – June 16, 2026 – WSP in the U.S., one of the world’s leading professional services firms, has named Navin Nitish as senior vice president, national aviation market leader.

Based in New York, Nitish leads aviation market strategy, supporting airport and aviation infrastructure development through strategic planning and analysis, construction and program delivery, engineering solutions, operations management and related services.

In addition to working with airport authorities, airlines, federal agencies, infrastructure developers, operators and other aviation clients, Nitish oversees major pursuits and collaborates with WSP leaders across business lines to align integrated capabilities with aviation opportunities.

With more than 24 years of experience managing complex airport infrastructure programs across planning, advisory, design and construction, Nitish has delivered major aviation initiatives at some of the busiest U.S. airports, including Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport and Orlando International Airport. His work spans terminals, cargo facilities, utilities, roadways, airfields and other large-scale projects.

Most recently, Nitish served as vice president, aviation strategy and growth lead for the U.S. East and Latin America region at a global engineering and infrastructure firm, where he led strategy, executed significant airport redevelopment programs and fortified client relationships throughout the aviation sector.

Nitish is a licensed professional engineer and holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University, as well as a bachelor’s in civil engineering from Nagpur University in India. He is a member of both the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Association of Airport Executives.
