AUSTIN, TEXAS – Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) passenger traffic growth for April 2024 was up 1.65% compared to April 2023 with 1,875,980 passengers flying during the month.

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for April 2024 was 1,875,980, up 1.65% compared to April 2023. April 2024 enplanements totaled 949,386, up 1.64%. Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 803,775, up 12.9%; American Airlines passengers totaled 369,790, down 19%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 277,780, up 29.3%; United Airlines passengers totaled 210,231, up 4.7%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 66,849, down 9.5%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 30,235, down 57.5%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 27,096, down 27.3%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 21,114, down 12.4%; British Airways passengers totaled 16,680, up 6.2%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 14,321, up 90.7%; Air Canada passengers totaled 6,995, up 77.2%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 6,527, up 5.5%; Lufthansa passengers totaled 6,301, up 13.4%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 5,190, up 3.9%; Copa Airlines passengers totaled 4,771; Hawaiian Airlines passengers totaled 4,381, down 26.8%; Viva Aerobus passengers totaled 2,694; Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 852, down 18.2%, and WestJet passengers totaled 218.
April 2024 air cargo totaled 26,435,622 lbs., up 16.5% compared to April 2023. International air cargo totaled 3,799,219 lbs., up 29.91%. Air Transport International carried 8,025,456 lbs., up 80%; Federal Express carried 6,913,115 lbs., up 5.3%; United Parcel Services carried 2,345,909 lbs., down 14.7%; and Atlas Air carried 1,667,543 lbs., down 47.2%.
Air Services transferred 30,461 lbs. of mail, down 92.33%; and 3,540,027 lbs. of belly freight, up 29.29%.
Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 3,860, down 10.11%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 22,693, down 1.43%.

Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 2,842,215, up 9%; American Airlines passengers totaled 1,441,912, down 14.8%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 903,064, up 19.2%; United Airlines passengers totaled 810,497, up 7%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 240,005, down 10.1%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 111,952, down 60.3%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 87,080, down 22.4%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 79,957; British Airways passengers totaled 58,837, up 7.1%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 33,285, down 0.1%; Air Canada passengers totaled 23,330, up 53.8%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 21,175, up 3.2%; Lufthansa passengers totaled 20,839, up 9.7%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 20,193, up 8.3%; Hawaiian Airlines passengers totaled 18,135, down 23.5%; Copa Airlines passengers totaled 17,901; Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 4,800, up 121.2%; Viva Aerobus passengers totaled 3,702; Virgin Atlantic passengers totaled 1,136, down 91.9%; Titan Airways passengers totaled 44; and Flightworx Aviation passengers totaled 41.
