NEW YORK—February 7, 2017—Chase customers will soon be able to use Chase Pay® while on-the-go with two new merchants – global restaurateur HMSHost and Parkmobile. HMSHost is the leading food and beverage provider for travel venues, while Parkmobile enables users to pay for parking in cities around the country through their app.
HMSHost operates nearly 2,000 restaurant locations in more than 80 North American airports and 99 motorway service centers, and partners with more than 300 traveler-preferred brands such as California Pizza Kitchen, Lorena Garcia TAPAS y Cocina, and Starbucks®. HMSHost award-winning brands include 1897 Market, Beaudevin Wine Bar, and Wicker Park Seafood & Sushi. Chase Pay will be accepted at all HMSHost locations in the United States and implementation will occur in the majority of these locations by the end of 2017.
“Implementing innovations to enhance the service we provide to travelers is a continual focus for HMSHost and access to digital payment options is an important part of meeting our guests’ needs,” said HMSHost president and CEO Steve Johnson. “We are excited about this partnership with Chase and making the checkout process more convenient for busy travelers.”
Starting in the second quarter, HMSHost locations will begin securely processing transactions on Chase’s closed-loop ChaseNet platform, establishing a point-to-point encrypted solution. The Chase Pay system adds another layer of security by tokenizing every transaction so that cardholders’ account numbers are never shared.
In addition to using Chase Pay at HMSHost locations while traveling, customers will soon be able to pay for parking from their phone. Chase Pay’s new partner, Parkmobile, allows users to pay for parking spots in cities across the country, reserve parking at concert venues and arenas, and sign up for multiple vehicles accounts.
“We know how valuable our customers’ time is when on the road for work or play” said Jennifer Roberts, president of Strategic Alliances and Loyalty at Chase, who leads the Chase Pay team. “We are excited that these new partnerships will make our customers’ travel that much easier.”
Parkmobile customers will soon be able to use Chase Pay for on-demand and prepaid parking on the street, at garages, airports and events across the United States.
“By adding Chase Pay, we are expanding the innovative payment options available to Parkmobile customers, further increasing convenience and creating a more seamless experience to find, reserve and pay for parking,” said Parkmobile CEO, Jon Ziglar.
HMSHost and Parkmobile join a list of leading brands in retail, entertainment, quick service restaurants and gas stations that have already signed on to accept Chase Pay. Chase Pay offers a flexible solution, enabling payments within the Chase Pay app, on merchant websites and within merchant apps.
The Chase Pay app is available on the App Store and Google PlayTM. For more information, visit Chasepay.com.
PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technology works and its applications.
