CHICAGO, March 21, 2017 - Copa Airlines has announced it will add more flights between Chicago and Panama City. Beginning June 1, 2017, Copa will operate an additional daily nonstop flight from O'Hare International Airport to Copa's Hub of the Americas at Tocumen International Airport in Panama, Republic of Panama.
The airline currently offers daily nonstop service between Chicago and Panama on a B737-800 aircraft that departs Chicago at 9 a.m. (8:45 a.m. effective March 26). Starting June 1, Copa Airlines will offer an additional daily flight that departs Chicago at 2:25 p.m.
Copa Airlines' service to Panama City is a gateway to more than 50 destinations in Latin America including destinations in countries such as Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador and Venezuela. From the Hub of the Americas, passengers can make connections to destinations throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, without customs/immigration waits for in-transit passengers.
On-board service includes complimentary meals and beverages, including wines and spirits; a 12-channel audio-visual entertainment system in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with new movies monthly and complimentary headsets. Flight attendants are bilingual.
