ORLANDO, FL. – The new Board of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) convened for its first meeting today. The first order of official business was the selection of Board officers for the upcoming year. In a nod to continuity and experience, two-term appointee and former Vice Chairman Domingo Sanchez was elected as the new Chairman of the Board. Carson Good was voted the new Vice Chairman and Jason Pirozzolo was elected Treasurer.
Returning Board members Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings and Sanchez were joined by four new members appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis in February.
“As Chairman, it is important that I put the best interests of the Aviation Authority and our two thriving airports at the forefront of all Board actions,” said Domingo Sanchez, Chairman of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “I appreciate the value the airports bring to the Central Florida economy and am committed to continuing our investment in the future and preserving The Orlando Experience® .”

With more than 47.9 million annual passengers, Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the busiest airport in Florida and 10th busiest in the U.S. MCO is currently engaged in a $4.27 billion Capital Improvement Program and generates $31 billion in revenue for the regional economy.
