TAMPA, FL – The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority has named Justin Piazza, CSRM, CISR, ACA, as Director, Enterprise Risk Management. In this position, Mr. Piazza will be responsible for directing the Authority’s Enterprise Risk Management, Insurance and Employee Safety programs and activities. He began his new position on June 5, 2023.
Mr. Piazza has a strong background in Enterprise Risk Management, self-insurance and claims management. For the past 12 years, he worked for the Florida College System Risk Management Consortium as Enterprise Risk Manager II. In that role, he identified and managed risks to the organization, its employees, stakeholders, assets and operations. Previously, he worked for North Florida Regional Medical Center in CSL Risk Management.
Mr. Piazza graduated from Baptist College of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Theology. He went on to receive his master’s degree from Western Governors University in Business Administration. He is Past President of the Florida Educators Risk Management Association. Mr. Piazza has also been designated by The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research as a Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM), a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and an Associate Claims Adjuster (ACA).
