In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing Parsons’ aviation growth and investment strategy for North America and Asia, as well as for evaluating and leading pursuits, setting winning strategies, and assisting in driving project delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and staffing. “I’m thrilled to welcome Laddie to Parsons,” said Mark Fialkowski, Executive Vice President. “Having worked on more than 100 aviation projects in the United States and abroad, he is a well-known leader in the aviation market space with a proven track record of successfully pursuing and delivering a broad range of aviation services. Aviation is a key focus area for Parsons and Laddie’s leadership will help drive our growth in the market.” Mr. Irion has more than 30 years of experience working in the aviation consulting industry and he has served as principal-in-charge on numerous projects associated with large-scale airport expansion programs, including work in Orlando, Dallas, Phoenix, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and Hong Kong. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and National Aviation Market Sector Leader for HNTB Corporation. In this role, he worked closely with industry leadership to achieve strategic goals and broaden the range of value-based consulting services that HNTB provides to its aviation clients. Prior to joining HNTB, he served as Vice President and Air Transportation Business Line Director for URS Corporation. Mr. Irion holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. He is currently the immediate past Chair of the World Business Partners/Associates Board of Directors for the Airports Council International–North America. From 2005 to 2010, he was an appointed member of the Airport Working Group of the U.S. Joint Planning and Development Office. He also actively participates in other industry associations and organizations, including the American Association of Airport Executives, the Airport Consultants Council, and the Aero Club of Washington. Throughout 2022, while recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, we continued our efforts to have a positive impact on the Charlotte community.
