Orlando, Fla. – ‘Tis the season for hustle and bustle in the terminals at Orlando International Airport, where there is always an air of anticipation for the live musical performances held during the month of December.
The annual Holiday Community Concert program offers a diverse and festive selection of music by local performers. The series kicked off Sunday, December 3, with the Bethune-Cookman Inspirational Gospel Choir followed by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Brass Quintet on Monday. The concerts reflect part of the Aviation Authority’s pillars, which focus on People, Connection, Community and Innovation. The performances by local artists show an appreciation for People, both passengers and locals, and broadens the Aviation Authority’s contributions within our Community.
Most concerts take place at the holiday tree in the atrium of the airport’s Hyatt Hotel on Level 3 of the Main Terminal or on Level 6 of Terminal C. Please see the schedule below for dates and times.
The slate of concerts continue throughout December and include a wide range of performances, including the Messiah Choral Society, Mariachi Oro Internacional, the Magic of Bronze Community Handbell Ensemble and Violectric’s “Music of Hanukkah.”
PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technology works and its applications.
