ATLANTA — (10.16.17) – Pond is pleased to announce and welcome Kristopher Erwin, PE, as Senior Project Manager for the Aerospace division.
Located at Pond’s headquarters, Erwin, a licensed Professional Engineer, brings more than 15 years of experience directly related to the engineering, program and project management of aerospace projects at international, domestic and local airports.
Two years after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, he found his passion for aerospace design while working at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, first on the Consolidated Rental Agency Complex (CONRAC).
From large, expansive airport engineering projects, including internationally in the Dominican Republic and Brazil, to local, municipal airports in Peachtree City, Ga. and Madison, Ga., Erwin honed his technical skills and adaptability to manage aerospace projects of any size.
“Having worked with a wide variety of clients in a wide variety of locations, I’ve developed skills ranging from conceptual planning, to program management, to detailed engineering design, along with the flexibility and adaptability of construction management of large and small projects,” he explained.
“Kris brings with him great depth of experience, and he’s got such a versatile background in aviation, that we just knew he was the perfect fit for our thriving aviation team,” said Tim Fredlund, principal and program manager of Pond’s aerospace program. “I feel confident that he’s going to help lead our aerospace program to sustained growth into the future,” he added.
Erwin is enthusiastic about being be part of the Pond team and has hit the ground running on expanding Pond’s Aerospace division.
