HELPING HOU AND IAH RECOVER FROM COVID
CHICAGO, September 15, 2020 – Just as airports plan for the new post-Covid standards of travel, MAG USA’s GOairport has been implemented at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to drive additional revenue and give travelers a more touchless parking experience. GOairport’s proprietary platform, live as of last week, includes a reservation system that allows travelers to reserve and pay for their parking in advance at Fly2Houston.com.
Booking parking in advance allows travelers to avoid human or surface contact from pushing a button and pulling a ticket to enter the parking facility or interacting with a parking booth attendant at the exit.
HOU and IAH will benefit in more ways than just providing a better and safer experience to their travelers. When an airport implements GOairport, they benefit from the product’s unparalleled capability to increase airports’ non-aeronautical revenues. At a time when parking revenues are critical to an airports post-Covid recovery, GOairport’s team of digital experts combine commercial, marketing, distribution, and aviation experience to maximize income on a per passenger basis and drive incremental value.
“We’re here to help airports very quickly recover and grow non-aeronautical revenue while improving the customer experience across the entire customer journey” says Martin Jones, CEO of MAG USA. "With GOairport, our partners quickly benefit from more people parking and parking for longer which delivers higher revenues and more satisfied customers.”
GOairport is a reservation and e-commerce system for parking, hospitality and ancillary products but with this platform, airports can receive so much more. GOairport’s core services are:
“Houston Airports has made it a priority to implement and activate touchless systems throughout the airport experience to help reduce the spread of COVID-19," Houston Airports Commercial Development Parking Director Walt Gray said. “GOairport not only gives passengers a fast and stress-free way of making a parking reservation, it also allows the touchless airport experience to happen even before you reach our parking facilities. Convenience and safety is a win, win.”
”As Houston Airport System’s long-term parking and transportation partner, SP+ is pleased to further our relationship with MAG at these two important hub airports. The combination of SP+’s operational and technical expertise, coupled with MAG’s reservation platforms, will greatly enhance our overall product offerings and the customer experience at IAH and HOU,” says Jack Ricchiuto, President, SP+ Airport Division.

2022 Charlotte Douglas International Airport Report of Achievement
Giving back to the community is central to what Charlotte Douglas International Airport and its operator, the City of Charlotte Aviation Department, is about, and last year was no different.
Throughout 2022, while recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, we continued our efforts to have a positive impact on the Charlotte community. Of particular note, we spent the year sharing stories of how Connections Don't Just Happen at the Terminal - from creating homeownership and employment opportunities to supporting economic growth through small-business development and offering outreach programs to help residents understand the Airport better.
This whitepaper highlights the construction projects, initiatives, programs and events that validate Charlotte Douglas as a premier airport.
