JFKIAT – the operator of T4 at JFK International Airport – and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey have launched a pop-up street market at T4 to support local artisans and businesses from Southeast Queens as well as other areas of the five boroughs. To kick off the initiative and first day of the street market, JFKIAT hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on December 19 with members from the team, the Port Authority, and the local vendors.
Located in the heart of T4’s Retail Hall, the street market hosts 13 vendors who each offer a curated selection of local products, including sweet treats, vegan goods, accessories, skincare, jewelry, and more. JFKIAT is committed to supporting the local community by implementing a diverse mix of programs and initiatives that spotlight local businesses and reflect the greater Queens and New York communities, and this initiative allows small business owners to engage with a new audience of customers at the airport and offers travelers a truly local taste of New York.

PAVIX: Proven Winner for All Airport Concrete Infrastructure
International Chem-Crete Corporation (ICC) manufactures and sells PAVIX, a unique line of crystalline waterproofing products that penetrate into the surface of cured concrete to fill and seal pores and capillary voids, creating a long lasting protective zone within the concrete substrate.
Once concrete is treated, water is prevented from penetrating through this protective zone and causing associated damage, such as freeze-thaw cracking, reinforcing steel corrosion, chloride ion penetration, and ASR related cracking.
This white paper discusses how the PAVIX CCC100 technology works and its applications.
