AUSTIN, TEXAS – Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) passenger traffic growth for November 2023 was up 3.57% compared to November 2022, with 1,911,494 passengers flying during the month.

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for November 2023 was 1,911,494, up 3.57% compared to November 2022. November 2023 enplanements totaled 957,892, up 3.5%. Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 766,737, up 5.5%; American Airlines passengers totaled 440,923, down 1.9%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 256,388, up 19.8%; United Airlines passengers totaled 217,066, up 9.1%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 63,399, down 24%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 48,517, down 13.7%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 28,580, down 15.1%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 28,395, down 4.2%; British Airways passengers totaled 15,175, up 2.2%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 7,481, down 16.3; Air Canada passengers totaled 6,932, up 76.9%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 5,747, up 18.7%; Lufthansa passengers totaled 5,510, up 3.5%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 5,389, up 8%; Hawaiian Airlines passengers totaled 5,000, down 16.2%; Copa Airlines passengers totaled 4,688; Virgin Atlantic passengers totaled 3,432, up 1.1%; and Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 2,135, up 31.4%.
November 2023 air cargo totaled 24,412,283 lbs., down 2.54% compared to November 2022. International air cargo totaled 2,114,220 lbs., up 11.7%. Air Transport International carried 8,295,027 lbs., up 5.9%; Federal Express carried 6,238,492 lbs., down 11.6%; United Parcel Services carried 2,721,046 lbs., down 18.3%; Atlas Air carried 1,486,518 lbs., down 12.3%; and Sun Country Airlines carried 957,906 lbs.
Air Services transferred 166,505 lbs. of mail, down 69.75%; and 3,535,765 lbs. of belly freight, up 0.24%.
Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 3,994, down 1.89%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 23,459, up 4.69%.

January – November 2023 enplanements totaled 10,130,124, up 4.53%. January – November 2023 air cargo totaled 255,976,218 lbs., down 10.3% compared to January – November 2022. International air cargo totaled 22,295,468 lbs., up 35.95%. Federal Express carried 73,092,820 lbs., down 6.6%; Air Transport International carried 69,957,666 lbs., down 14.8%; United Parcel Services carried 29,626,233 lbs., down 16.8%; and Atlas Air carried 25,645,744 lbs., down 18.5%.
Air Services transferred 2,824,650 lbs. of mail, down 55.69%; and 32,849,782 lbs. of belly freight, up 5.8%.
Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 42,557 for January – November 2023, down -10.19%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 253,054, up 2.11%.
